Overview

This website is operated by 9718117 Canada Inc., operating as RTI Cabinets ("RTI Cabinets", "we", "us" or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit rticabinets.ca or rticabinets.com, open a quote or other page we send you on rtiservicehub.com, contact us, or buy products from us online, by draft order, by phone, by email or in our showroom (together, the "Services").

By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies they refer to, including our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Warranty. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived, including the laws of Ontario, Quebec or the place where you live. If a term conflicts with those laws, the law applies.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc.

1. Using Our Website

You must be at least the age of majority in your province, territory or state to place an order.
You agree to give us accurate, current and complete information, and to keep it up to date.
You may not use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or interfere with or try to get around the security of our website or systems.
We may refuse service, limit quantities or cancel an order at our discretion, including orders that appear to be placed by dealers or resellers. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

2. Orders, Pricing and Payment

Minimum order: online orders have a minimum of $500 before taxes and delivery.
Payment: full payment is required when you place your order. Production starts only after payment is received.
Prices: prices are shown on our website or in your draft order, in the currency shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes and delivery charges. Prices may change without notice, but a change does not affect an order you have already paid for.
Order confirmation: your order is accepted when you receive our order confirmation. The confirmation, together with these Terms, is your agreement with us. Please review it carefully and contact us right away if anything is wrong.
Errors: if a product is listed or quoted at an incorrect price or with incorrect information because of an obvious error, we may correct it. If you have already paid, we will contact you and you may choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

3. Quotes and Designs

Quotes, quote presentations, layouts, drawings and renderings are prepared from the information you give us. They are estimates for planning and are valid until the date shown on the quote.
Only the items, sizes, finishes and prices on your paid order are final. Images and examples in a quote presentation are for illustration and may not show your exact products.
Quote links are private to you. Please do not share them.

4. Your Measurements and Selections

You are responsible for confirming all measurements, cabinet sizes, quantities, door styles, colours, finishes, hardware and appliance specifications before you order, even if our team helped with your design.
Please check your order confirmation and any drawings carefully. We build what is on your order.
Cabinets and doors are made to order. We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect measurements or selections provided by you or someone acting for you, such as a contractor or designer.

5. Colours, Materials and Product Information

We try to show colours, textures and finishes as accurately as possible, but screens display colours differently. Samples are available to help you choose.
Natural variation in colour, sheen and texture can occur between samples, production batches and orders placed at different times. This is normal and is not a defect.
Product descriptions, dimensions and images may change as we improve our products. We may make minor changes to materials or hardware that do not reduce quality or function.

6. Lead Times, Delivery and Pickup

Lead times are estimates and start after full payment is received. We will try to let you know if your order is delayed, but we are not responsible for losses caused by delays.
Delivery and pickup terms, including delivery areas, charges and where items are dropped off, are set out in our Shipping Policy and your order confirmation.
Orders must be picked up within 60 days of being ready. After 60 days, the order returns to our inventory and no refund is issued, as set out in our Refund Policy.
Responsibility for products passes to you when they are delivered or picked up.

7. Inspection, Damage and Returns

Please inspect your products at delivery or pickup and report any damage, defect or wrong item to us immediately, with photos.
Returns and exchanges for damaged, defective or incorrect items are handled under our Refund Policy, including its 15-day window.
We do not accept returns for change of mind, because products are made to order.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. After 24 hours, orders cannot be cancelled because production may have started, except where the law gives you a right to cancel.

9. Installation

We do not provide installation. You are responsible for installation by a qualified installer, following our instructions and all building, electrical and plumbing codes.
We are not responsible for installation work, or for damage or defects caused by improper installation, modification, misuse, water exposure, or products not supplied by us.
Do not install any product you believe is damaged or defective. Contact us first.

10. Warranty

Our products are covered by the RTI Cabinets Warranty posted on our website. The Warranty explains what is covered, for how long, and how to make a claim. Any rights you have under consumer protection laws are in addition to our Warranty.

11. AI Assistants and Online Tools

We use AI chat assistants and automatic replies to help answer questions. AI answers are for general guidance and may contain errors.
Prices, product details, lead times and commitments are binding only when confirmed by our team or shown on your order confirmation.
We may offer tools provided by third parties. These are provided "as is" and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

12. Intellectual Property and Designs

Our website content, product designs, photos, videos, quotes, layouts, drawings, renderings and production files belong to RTI Cabinets or our licensors and are protected by law.
Designs and drawings we prepare for you are for your project with RTI Cabinets only. You may not copy them, sell them, or give them to another manufacturer or supplier to make products, without our written permission.
You may not copy, scrape, resell or commercially use any part of the Services without our written permission.

13. Reviews, Feedback and Submissions

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, we may use them without paying you or keeping them confidential.
If you post a review or send us photos and agree that we can share them, you give us permission to use them in our marketing. You confirm you have the right to share them.
Reviews and submissions must be honest and must not be unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringe anyone's rights. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

14. Third-Party Links

Our Services may link to websites and platforms run by others. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Please review their terms and policies before using them.

15. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services or their content to: break any law; infringe our or anyone else's rights; harass, abuse or discriminate against anyone; submit false or misleading information; upload viruses or malicious code; collect other people's personal information; spam, phish, scrape or crawl; or interfere with or get around security features. We may end your use of the Services if you do.

16. Disclaimers

We work to keep the Services available, accurate and secure, but we do not promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free or always current. Except for our Warranty and any rights you have by law that cannot be excluded, the Services and website information are provided "as is" and "as available".

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

RTI Cabinets and its directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost savings, delays, costs of other trades or contractors, or loss of use, arising from the Services or our products.
Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the products that gave rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including to rights under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.

18. Indemnification

You agree to compensate RTI Cabinets for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs caused by your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of others, to the extent permitted by law.

19. Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, fire, power or internet outages, labour disputes, supplier or carrier delays, government actions or public health emergencies. We will tell you as soon as we can and work to complete your order.

20. Personal Information

How we collect, use and share personal information, including call recording, AI tools and quote tracking, is explained in our Privacy Policy.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario, unless consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first so we can try to fix it.

22. General

Severability: if any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest stays in effect.
No waiver: if we do not enforce a term, we may still enforce it later.
Entire agreement: these Terms, the policies they refer to and your order confirmation are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
Changes: we may update these Terms by posting a new version here and changing the "Last updated" date. Changes do not affect orders already placed.
