Minimum Order:
- What is the minimum purchase requirement before taxes and shipping can be applied?
The minimum order amount before taxes and shipping charges can be applied is $500.
Returns, Refunds, Exchanges:
- Do you accept returns?
All sales are final sales. We do not accept returns due to change of mind. For example, if a vanity does not fit your space, or you change your mind about the color or finish
- Do you accept refunds?
We do not offer refunds. If a customer wants to cancel the order, the customer has 24 hours after the order has been placed. After 24 hours, we are unable to remove an item from the order or cancel it.
- Do you accept exchanges?
We have a 15-day exchange policy for any damaged items, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request for an exchange. After 15 days we will no longer do an exchange.
Cabinet Construction:
- Do the cabinets arrive fully assembled for convenience?
Yes, all our cabinets come pre-assembled, saving you time and effort during installation.
- How thick are the backs of your cabinets?
The cabinet backs have a thickness of 5/8 inch.
- How thick is the back/bottom of the drawer box?
The back/bottom of the drawer box is 5/8 inch thick.
- Are the cabinet sides finished, or do they require side panels?
The sides of our cabinets are unfinished and exposed to screws. If your side is exposed, you will need to purchase a side panel. Melamine side panels are 5/8 inch thick, and MDF panels are 3/4 inch thick.
- Are holes for handles pre-drilled in the cabinets?
No, handle holes are not pre-drilled in the cabinets.
- What color are the interiors of your cabinets?
The interiors of all our cabinets are white.
- Cost for custom paint colors?
For orders requesting custom paint colors, an additional fee of $250 plus taxes per order will be applied. Subsequently, you will receive an email prompting you to settle the remaining balance.
Delivery and Installation:
- How do I determine the delivery cost for my order?
You can obtain delivery prices by entering your address during the checkout process.
- Can I choose to pick up my order instead of having it delivered?
Yes, you have the option to pick up your order. You can select this option during checkout.
- What are your delivery options for apartment buildings?
We only deliver on the ground floor of apartment buildings. If you require delivery to any other floor, please contact us to inquire about additional charges.
- Do you offer basement delivery services?
No, we do not deliver to basements. Our delivery is limited to the garage or the main floor of the house.
- Can one person handle the delivery, or is assistance required?
To maintain affordable delivery costs for everyone, only one person will deliver the products. It is necessary to have someone available to assist with unloading the items from the delivery truck.
- Do you provide cabinet installation services?
No, we do not offer cabinet installation services.
- Customs charges for US shipping.
Customer is responsible for any customs charges. The customs charges are not included in the delivery charges paid during checkout.
- Shipping to Certain Islands.
For Orders Placed After January 10th, 2024: Ferry charges to Vancouver Islands are Included in the shipping costs
Orders Placed Before January 10th: Please note that the shipping rate displayed does not include any ferry charges if you are located on an island. These include but not limited to: Victoria, Nanaimo, and Southern Gulf Islands in BC.
If your delivery address is on one of the islands, additional ferry fees may apply up to $150 per order. Our sales team will contact you after you place your order to confirm the total shipping cost, including any ferry or additional charges.
Hardware and Accessories:
- Do your drawers and doors feature soft-close functionality?
Yes, all our doors and drawers are equipped with soft-close mechanisms.
- Do the cabinets come with handles, or do I need to purchase them separately?
Handles are not included with the cabinets. You can purchase the hardware separately to customize the look to your preference.
- Are there any pre-installed hardware or accessories, like spice racks or waste bins, in the cabinets?
No, any hardware or accessories will need to be purchased separately and installed by you or your contractor.
Miscellaneous:
- Is it possible to buy cabinet boxes separately without doors?
Yes, you can request a quote for purchasing cabinet boxes without doors by sending us an email at info@rticabinets.ca.
- What type of paint is applied to your kitchen cabinets, and is it Benjamin Moore?
Our painted kitchens feature finishes achieved through a specialized painting process using a custom paint blend, enriched with a catalyst and paint thinner specially formulated for doors. While we reference Benjamin Moore color codes for convenience and visualization, we do not use Benjamin Moore paints. Our unique blend ensures exceptional durability and a flawless finish.
